Description
The Bracklesham Bay with it’s wrap front bodice, a-line skirt and elasticated waist makes for a comfortable and easy fitting dress. There are options for an elasticated short sleeve or a longer plain sleeve (or go sleeveless if you prefer). No zips or fastenings make this a simple to make and easy to wear wardrobe essential.
Swap out the elastic for a draw string tie, apply in seam pockets with our free to download pocket pattern and step by step video tutorial or use bias binding for the neckline instead of the facing - so many options!
This pattern is also available as part of a Dressmaking Kit including the pattern, fabric and notions (UK delivery only).
Cover model is 5'6" tall and wearing a size 16 with no alterations.

UK: 6 - 30.
US: 2-26. EU: 32-56.
Suggested Fabrics
Crisp cotton poplin, lawn or chambray, light linens, viscose lawn or challis for your summer wear.
Needle-cord, medium weight linens or 7oz denim for autumn/winter.

Up to Size 22: 140cm width = 2.2m
Notions
• Interfacing : 30cm full width non-woven interfacing OR Bias Binding : Size 6 = 1.5m, Size 8-30 = 2m
• Waist Elastic = width 3.5cm, length: your waist measurement + 2cm
• Cuff Elastic (short sleeve version only) = 2 of : width 3.5cm, length: your bicep measurement + 2cm
