Perfect for beginners, with no zips, buttonholes or tricky hardware, the Denton Dungarees are a wardrobe staple that's easy to sew and customise. The work-wear inspired look prioritises comfort and utility, but offers lots of scope for creativity and fun. You could go for a classic denim, a breezy linen, or a bold printed canvas. Even a plain denim can be jazzed up with some contrasting patch pockets - dead easy even for a beginner, and that big bib pocket is just begging for a gorgeous print.
The simple tie shoulder straps make adjusting the fit a breeze and add a charming, homemade detail; while more experienced sewers can easily adapt the pattern to whatever hardware details they desire. The high back design provides a secure fit and clean silhouette from behind, and from a practical point of view, you have pockets galore, with plenty of room for your phone, keys and snacks.
And because everything is cuter in miniature, we also have a Kids Denton Dungarees pattern available. These are great for durable playwear, as well as the mini-me photo opportunities. The adjustable tie straps also leave some room to adjust as they grow. The instructions are the same for both patterns, it really is an adorable mini version!

Mid to heavy weight cottons and linens - denim, gaberdine, needle-cord, canvas - add a bit of stretch for comfort. Use lighter weights for warmer months.

The Isfield is a sophisticated, modern take on the classic tea dress, featuring a flattering, semi-fitted shape that transitions seamlessly from weekend brunches to formal occasions.
The gently contoured bodice features shaping darts at the waist for a polished, feminine look, while the self-fabric back ties allow you to adjust the waist cinch for a more defined or more relaxed fit.
Statement elbow-length puff sleeves provide comfortable and subtle volume (there’s no hidden elastic). The versatile midi-length skirt with a slight A-line flare offers a graceful drape and is easy to lengthen or shorten.

About Our Sewing Patterns
All of our sewing patterns come with a free video tutorial sew-along, detailing every step of construction, along with a clearly written and illustrated instruction manual. Our paper patterns are printed on high quality A0 and A1 paper and come in a sturdy re-usable string and washer envelope.
All our paper patterns are also available as PDF digital downloads in both A4 and US Letter paper formats. We also include A0 and A1 files for copy shop printing.
