Rye Jacket Boiled Wool Fabric - Choice of Colours (2m)
This is 2m of boiled wool, in a choice of 3 colours, intended to be used for making the Rye Jacket. The fabric is enough to make the jacket in the largest size (30UK).
If you don’t already have the Rye Jacket pattern, you’ll need to add it to your order, as this item is just for the fabric. There’s a button below where you can add the pattern to your cart.
You can follow the Rye Jacket Tutorial Video when making the jacket, but we’ve also added a blog post to give some extra tips on making the jacket with boiled wool, as you can take a few shortcuts!

Fabric Care Instructions
To wash: Soak in cool water with non-bio detergent. To dry lay between two towels and gently press to remove excess water, then lay flat to dry.
I washed mine in a pillow case on a wool/delicate wash at 30 degrees with non-bio detergent and no spin before I made it up and it washed well.

NOTIONS
Thread, interfacing for collar & facing, 4 or 5 buttons. 2cm ones work well. If you don’t fancy sewing buttonholes, large poppers are a good alternative.
